BasedApp Farming Module
The BasedApp farming module allows you to configure automated trading by selecting a wallet, coin, margin, spread, and orders per hour settings.
Trading Modes
Farmer Mode
Farmer Mode is the primary automated trading mode that simplifies the farming process by handling balance and spread management automatically.
How Farmer Mode Works
Unlike Econo Mode, in Farmer Mode you don't need to set margin or spread manually. The system automatically uses your entire available spot balance and determines the spread dynamically based on the orderbook conditions.
You only need to configure:
Wallet selection
Coin selection
Orders Per Hour (OPH)
Trading Cycle Example
Let's say you set Orders Per Hour: 180
This means the system needs to complete 180 trades in 1 hour → each cycle takes 20 seconds (3600 ÷ 180).
The cycle works as follows:
Second 1: Place a buy limit order using your entire USDC balance at the closest price to market
Second 10: If the limit order hasn't filled, execute a market buy
Second 10: Place a sell limit order for all acquired coins at the closest price to market
Second 20: If the limit order hasn't filled, execute a market sell
Repeat cycle infinitely

Configuration
Select Wallet: Choose your trading wallet from the dropdown
Select Coin: Choose the cryptocurrency you want to farm
Orders Per Hour: Set your desired trading frequency (e.g., 60, 180)
Higher values = more frequent trading cycles
Lower values = longer time between trades
Econo Mode
Econo Mode provides manual control over trading parameters for advanced users who want to customize their farming strategy.
Configuration Options
Wallet Selection: Choose your trading wallet
Coin Selection: Choose the cryptocurrency to farm
Margin (Amount): Set the trading amount in dollars
Spread %: Set the percentage spread for orders (e.g., 0.5%)
Orders Per Hour: Set trading frequency
Margin Guidelines
⚠️ Important: Use a lower margin compared to your spot balance. Margin should be less than 50% of the spot balance for the system to keep farming effectively.
Example: For $1000.00 spot equity, use $200.00 in margin.
Important Notes
Always ensure you have sufficient spot balance before starting
Monitor your farming activity through the trade history interface
You can stop farming at any time using the "Stop" button
Troubleshooting
Low/No Balance: If your available spot balance shows 0.00, ensure you have transferred funds to your spot wallet
